Description
Würth Acrylic Joint Sealant 280ml White - Paintable Sealant for Interior Use
Professional acrylic joint sealant for filling and sealing cracks and joints in porous building materials
Looking for a reliable sealant that you can paint over? The Würth acrylic joint sealant is the ideal solution for sealing joints and cracks indoors. This user-friendly sealant has been specially developed for porous materials and offers excellent paint adhesion.
Why choose this acrylic joint sealant?
Paintable The great advantage of this sealant is that you can easily paint over or plaster it. As a result, the joint disappears completely into the finish. Perfect for an invisible end result.
Silicone-free. Contains no silicone, ensuring excellent adhesion of paints and varnishes to the surface. No stains or repellent effect during painting.
Wide range of applications. Suitable for various building materials such as brick, wood, concrete, gypsum, drywall, plaster, and porous stones. A true all-rounder for interior jobs.
Durable and stable. Resistant to aging, weathering, and UV radiation. Remains in good condition for years without discoloring or crumbling.
Ideal applications
- Sealing cracks in masonry
- Filling joints in plaster or concrete
- Connection joints between window frames and walls
- Repairing cracks in plasterboard
- Gaps around skirting boards and moldings
- Joints for light indoor loads
Suitable substrates
With the use of a primer, this sealant adheres excellently to pavers, bricks, wood, concrete, aerated concrete, gypsum, plasterboard, plaster, and silicate brick. For porous or absorbent surfaces, you can dilute the sealant with water in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:5 to use as a primer.
Instructions for use
Preparation Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. For very porous materials, you can first apply a diluted primer for optimal adhesion.
Application Cut off the top of the cartridge and attach the nozzle. Cut the nozzle at an angle to the desired joint width. Place the cartridge in a caulking gun and apply the sealant evenly to the joint or crack.
Finishing Smooth the sealant with a damp spatula or putty knife. If necessary, the joint can be wet-finished with water.
Drying The sealant dries from the outside in at a rate of approximately 1 mm per day at 23°C and 50% humidity. Skin formation time is approximately 10-12 minutes.
Repainting: Wait until the sealant has fully cured before repainting. Always test on a small area first due to the wide variety of paints and varnishes.

Suitable for
Indoor sealing joints and connection joints with low compressive and tensile loads. Perfect for sealing cracks in masonry, plaster, or concrete.
Limits
Only suitable for joints with slight movement and for indoor use. Contains no fungicides. With fully painted joints, there is a risk of cracking due to movement, as paint is generally less elastic than the sealant itself.
Important to know
The curing rate depends on the application temperature, weather conditions, and the moisture content of the substrate. In cold and humid weather, the curing process slows down significantly.
Due to the wide variety of paints and varnishes, we recommend performing a test first to rule out unwanted interactions.
Required accessories
For application, you need a caulking gun for hard cartridges (sold separately). For a perfect finish, you can use a joint spatula or caulking knife.
Würth quality
Würth is known worldwide for reliable, professional products. This acrylic joint sealant combines years of expertise with excellent performance for both professional tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts.
Safety information
Keep out of reach of children. Ensure adequate ventilation during use and curing. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water.
Storage and shelf life
Store in a dry, cool place. Shelf life in unopened packaging depends on storage conditions. Protect from frost.
Tips for optimal results
For best results, you can mask the joint with masking tape for a clean line. Remove the tape before the sealant starts to harden. For deep joints, it is recommended to work in multiple layers, allowing each layer to dry first. Always test paint compatibility before painting over large surfaces.
